In the cycling and hiking season from May to the end of October guided hikes are offered that go directly from the hotel and from Füssen Tourismus. Please remember to pack sturdy mountain or hiking boots and appropriate clothing for your hiking holiday.

We have geared ourselves up for the needs of hikers and offer professional advice, maps, drying room and service for all aspects of equipment and the weather.A rental hiking backpack will be waiting for you in your hotel room; at the hotel reception moreover you can get hiking poles and a child carrier.

Rest and refreshment stops for hikers
- Schlossbergalm near Eisenberg / Hopferau (approx. 7 km): wonderful hiking trail through the forest from the village.
- Alpe Beichelstein near Seeg (approx. 8 km): situated at 930 m. Accessible on foot, by bike or by car.
- Käsealp at the Lehern alpine dairy near Hopferau (approx. 5 km): Rest and refreshment at the ‘Allgäu Beer and Cheese Hiking Trail’.
- Salober Alm near Füssen (approx. 6 km): above the Alatsee Lake at an altitude of 1,150 m with a fantastic view.
- Rohrkopfhütte near Schwangau (approx. 15 km): at eye level with the royal castles on the Tegelberg at 1,320 m.
- Buchenberg Alm near Halblech (approx. 15 km): viewing plateau at an altitude of 1,140 m with a view of 13 lakes.
- Gundhütte near Pfronten (approx. 18 km): On the southern slope of the Edelsberg at an altitude of 1,180 m with a beautiful sun terrace.
- Hündeleskopfhütte near Pfronten-Kappel (approx. 14 km): The first vegetarian alpine hut restaurant with an authentic atmosphere.
- Alpe Kögelhof near Eisenberg (approx. 13 km): an ideal rest and refreshment stop for hikers and cyclists.
